The journey begins in Kigali and takes you through Bwindi Impenetrable Forest for gorilla trekking, scenic Lake Mutanda, and a guided forest walk to Buhoma. Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Kigali – Orugano Lodge & Kahurire Trail
Travel from Kigali and arrive at Orugano Lodge. Settle in and relax before enjoying a guided walk along the Kahurire Trail with scenic forest views. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Gorilla Tracking & Community Tour
After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before starting your gorilla trekking experience. Spend an unforgettable hour with a gorilla family in their natural habitat. In the evening, enjoy a community tour to unwind.

Day 3: Lake Mutanda Canoeing & Community Experience
After breakfast, enjoy canoeing on Lake Mutanda, including a visit to the historic Punishment Islands. Return to the lodge later in the day and conclude with a community tour.

Day 4: Bwindi Forest Walk – Buhoma | Transfer to Queen Elizabeth Area
Take a guided 10km forest walk through Bwindi Forest to the Buhoma sector, lasting about three hours. After the walk, transfer by vehicle toward Queen Elizabeth National Park and check in at your lodge.

Day 5: Queen Elizabeth National Park – Game Drive & Boat Cruise
Spend the day exploring Queen Elizabeth National Park. Enjoy a game drive to see tree-climbing lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, crater lakes, and the Katwe Salt Lake. Later, take a boat ride on the Kazinga Channel to spot hippos and other aquatic wildlife.

Day 6: Transfer to Kibale National Park
After breakfast, transfer to Kibale National Park. Upon arrival, enjoy lodge-based activities and relax as you prepare for the next day’s primate experience.

Day 7: Chimpanzee Trekking & Bigodi Swamp
Begin the day with chimpanzee trekking in Kibale Forest. Later, visit the Bigodi Swamp for a guided nature and community walk, known for its birdlife and conservation efforts.

Day 8: Transfer to Entebbe – Departure
After breakfast, transfer to Entebbe. You will arrive in time for your evening international flight, marking the end of your safari.
