Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Kigali – Orugano Lodge & Kahurire Trail

Travel from Kigali to Orugano Lodge. After settling in, enjoy a guided walk along the Kahurire Trail with scenic forest views. Return to the lodge to relax and enjoy dinner.

Day 2: Gorilla Tracking & Community Tour

After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before starting your gorilla tracking experience. Spend a magical hour with a gorilla family. In the evening, enjoy a community visit to unwind.

Day 3: Golden Monkey Tracking – Mgahinga National Park

Transfer to Mgahinga National Park for golden monkey tracking. Watch these playful primates in their natural habitat before returning to the lodge. Enjoy an evening community visit.

Day 4: Lake Mutanda Canoeing & Community Experience

Enjoy a peaceful canoeing experience on Lake Mutanda, including a visit to the historic Punishment Islands. Return to the lodge and conclude the day with a community tour.

Day 5: Bwindi Forest Walk – Buhoma | Transfer to Queen Elizabeth Area

Take a guided 10km (approximately 3-hour) forest walk through Bwindi Forest to the Buhoma sector. After the walk, transfer by vehicle toward Queen Elizabeth National Park and check in at your lodge.

Day 6: Queen Elizabeth National Park – Game Drives & Boat Cruise

Enjoy a morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, followed by a scenic boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. Later, take part in an evening game drive to spot more wildlife.

Day 7: Transfer to Kibale Forest – Lodge Activities

Day 8: Chimpanzee Trekking & Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary

Day 9: Transfer to Entebbe – Relaxation

Day 11: Departure
