Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Kigali – Orugano Lodge & Kahurire Trail
You will be picked up from Kigali and transferred to Orugano Lodge. Upon arrival, settle in and relax before enjoying a guided walk along the Kahurire Trail, offering beautiful forest views and fresh air. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Gorilla Tracking & Community Tour
After an early breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing before starting your gorilla tracking adventure. Trek through the forest with professional guides and enjoy a magical hour with a gorilla family in their natural habitat. In the evening, enjoy a community tour to unwind and learn about local life.

Day 3: Golden Monkey Tracking – Mgahinga National Park
After breakfast, travel to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park for golden monkey tracking. Watch these playful primates in their natural habitat, set against the stunning Virunga Volcanoes. Return to Orugano Lodge later in the day to relax.

Day 4: Lake Mutanda Canoeing & Community Experience
After breakfast, head to Lake Mutanda for a peaceful canoeing experience. Enjoy scenic views and visit the historic Punishment Islands while learning about the area’s history. Later, return to the lodge and take part in a community tour to conclude the day.

Day 5: Transfer to Kigali – Departure
