Located in Nkuringo Sector of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Kisoro, we are experts in organizing gorilla trekking and other safari tours in Uganda. Our charming lodge, Orugano Bwindi Lodge, is also located at the gateway to the gorilla trekking base, offering a perfect blend of comfort and nature. As a registered and licensed tour company authorized by the Ugandan government, we ensure that all our operations fully comply with local laws and regulations. The Registrar of Companies in Uganda has fully registered Orugano Safaris. The legal company name is “Orugano Safaris Limited,” with registration number 80034366900416. We are legally authorized to carry out tours and safari activities in Uganda, as mandated by the Companies Act of 2012. Bob the founder member has decades of experience in the tourism industry. His passion is culture, native medicines, traditions and practices of the bakiga people and will passionately share these with you. A graduate of youtube university, bob loves cooking meals from all corners of the globe and together with cheffing team, they are delivering excellence. His top tips when exploring Africa are to sample the local cuisine, connect with the locals and ask about their lives.
Kirabo Abigail
Junior Safari Expert
Kirabo whose name means gift is the youngest member of the team. She is an accomplished marketer and tour guide though she is only available in May, August, December and January. Kirabo enjoys beautiful sceneries and has consistently ranked Orugano as having the best view in the world. Among her passions, she loves to track chameleons and visiting Suma water falls. She speaks English, Swahili and also apparently learning many other languages on duo lingo.
