Booking Terms & Conditions
Please take a moment to read the terms and conditions below. When you confirm a safari booking with Orugano Safaris Ltd, it means you have read, understood, and agreed to them. If anything is unclear or you have questions, just let us know.
1. Bookings
Orugano Safaris collaborates with independent service providers to offer transportation, accommodation bookings, meals, trip excursions, and other related services.
Please note that all programs and packages are subject to availability and are only guaranteed once confirmed. Due to limited availability at certain lodges, camps, or hotels, we highly recommend making reservations well in advance of your intended travel dates.
If you wish to modify or adjust your booked program, Orugano Safaris Ltd will do its best to accommodate your requests, provided such changes are feasible. Any additional costs resulting from these adjustments will be borne by the client.
Orugano Safaris reserves the right to alter or revise the itinerary if necessary. Any such changes will be communicated to the client promptly for approval.
2. Pricing
The prices listed for specific safaris are based on the provided itinerary, with inclusions and exclusions clearly outlined unless otherwise stated. Please be aware that the prices displayed on our website or quoted to clients are subject to change without prior notice and are only confirmed at the time of booking.
3. Tour Operations
Photography During Travel: Orugano Safaris may take photographs or videos during the course of any program and reserves the right to use these materials for promotional purposes. By booking with us, guests consent to the use of their images in such media. If you prefer not to have your images used, please inform us in advance.
While we strive to provide exceptional wildlife experiences, we cannot guarantee sightings of specific animals at particular times or locations. Guests are required to exercise caution and adhere to instructions provided by tour guides or wildlife rangers during animal encounters.
A gorilla or chimpanzee permit ensures the opportunity to track these primates but does not guarantee visibility.
Orugano Safaris Ltd reserves the right to substitute accommodations with equivalent or superior options. If an equivalent option is unavailable, we may offer the next best alternative, which may incur additional charges.
While we ensure that all vehicles are in roadworthy condition, we cannot be held liable for delays, breakdowns, or damage caused by poor road conditions. Only Orugano Safaris’ designated drivers are permitted to operate company vehicles, and their decisions regarding routes and other operational matters are final.
4. Safari Booking Payments
A 30% deposit is required to confirm your booking. For gorilla and chimpanzee permits, full payment must be made in advance to secure the reservation.
The remaining balance is due no later than 30 days before the safari begins, unless otherwise agreed in writing. For bookings made within 30 days of arrival, full payment is required at the time of confirmation.
Failure to adhere to the payment schedule may result in the cancellation of your booking.
Payments can be made via bank transfer (TT), VISA credit card, or cash prior to the start of the safari. Please note that VISA credit card payments incur a 3.5% service charge, which will be borne by the client.
5. Booking Cancellations & Refunds
All cancellation requests must be made in writing and shall be effective on the date of actual receipt by Orugano Safaris Ltd. The following changes apply to the basic program rate.

6. Liability
Orugano Safaris Ltd shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, or injury to persons or property.
We cannot accept responsibility or provide compensation for circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to flight delays or cancellations, force majeure events (events that are completely out of Orugano Safaris’ control) such as war, civil unrest, terrorism, border closures, government actions, strikes, epidemics, pandemics, quarantine, road closures, natural disasters, extreme weather, or technical/mechanical transport issues.
It is the responsibility of the travel agency or wholesaler to ensure that all tour participants possess the necessary passports, visas, travel permits, health certificates, and other required documentation.
